• Create work plans and cost estimates in one's area of responsibility.

• Evaluate risks and opportunities, strategizes mitigation of one's engineering projects/programs. Support the Project Manager in overall project risk and opportunity assessments and implementation of resulting actions. Identifies opportunities for repeating and new business.

• Collaborate and network with engineering colleagues within Hitachi Energy. Share best practice across different projects and disciplines.

• Utilize standard processes, tools and techniques. Ensure that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements.

Your background

• Bachelor/master's degree in Electrical Engineering or technical diploma.

• Fluent in English & Italian.

• Proven experience of at least 3 years in GIS (Gas insulated switchgear) and/or AIS (air insulated switchgear) and/or power plants project engineering in EPC business.

• Excellent knowledge of CAD;

• Problem solving oriented.
