, you will foster financial discipline, continuous process improvement, and strategic value creation. By translating complex financial data into meaningful insights and proactively managing risks and opportunities, you will play a key role in supporting sustainable growth and operational excellence across the Latin American region.

How You ́ll Make an Impact:

  • Lead and oversee all corporate controlling activities for Latin America operations, ensuring full compliance with IFRS and internal company policies.

  • Manage, coach, and develop the Latin American controlling team, including training initiatives and effective capacity planning.

  • Review financial statements prepared by Finance Common Shared Services and deliver monthly management reporting to local and regional leadership, focusing on key performance indicators.

  • Monitor capital expenditure budgets versus actuals, perform variance analyses, and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Manage a wide range of stakeholders across functions, countries, and business units, leveraging strong communication and networking capabilities.

  • Actively live Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking accountability for personal actions and fostering a culture of care for colleagues and the business.

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Your background:

  • Experience: 8-10 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or Controlling, ideally within a multinational environment.

  • Education: Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex financial, regulatory, and operational challenges with sound judgment.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for decision-making at all organizational levels.

  • Strong expertise in IFRS and current regulatory requirements, including a solid understanding of differences between local statutory accounting and IFRS reporting.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP FICO and strong proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.

  • Proactive mindset with a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and meeting demanding deadlines.

  • Fluent in English & Spanish.
