Create and implement a company-wide Scope 1 and 2 emissions reduction roadmap to achieve Carbon Neutrality targets.
Develop a Circular Economy in Operations strategy to meet waste and water reduction targets.
Advise business units on emissions, waste reduction, and water conservation plans.
Oversee KPIs related to waste reduction, water conservation, and zero-waste-to-landfill ambitions.
Provide operational guidance for carbon neutrality initiatives.
Manage the 100% fossil-free electricity program and fleet decarbonization.
Communicate energy and GHG emissions reduction plans and performance through presentations and reports.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Responsible for Scope 1 and 2 internal (and external where required) data reporting and analysis, including enhancing data quality assurance / control. Quantify current and planned emission reduction forecasts. Manage internal GHG (Scope 1 and 2) verification. Develop detailed overviews / reports for the management of Scope 1 and 2 emissions.
Responsible for developing and maintaining waste, water and Scope 1 and 2 protocols / guidelines / policies in the Global HSE Operating System (Management System).
Ability to travel for periodic site visits.
Your Background
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental resource efficiency or sustainability roles.
Proven track record in developing and implementing sustainability strategies.
Strong knowledge of Scope 1 and 2 emissions, circular economy principles, and waste management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to analyze data and generate comprehensive reports.
Demonstrated success in GHG emissions reduction planning and execution.
Professional certification in environmental management or sustainability strongly preferred.
Experience working in a regional or global corporate environment.
Experience working in industrial manufacturing environments.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or above preferred.
