Position summary

  • Conduct and support incident investigations and follow-up actions.

  • Manage internal safety audits and workplace inspection programs.

  • Prepare and share safety performance reports and KPIs.

  • Coordinate environmental compliance activities and maintain ISO14001 standards.

  • Oversee emergency preparedness and response training programs.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.

  • College diploma or bachelor's degree in environmental health & safety or equivalent experience.

  • 3-5 years of experience in occupational environmental health and safety.

  • Practical knowledge of ISO45001, ISO14001, and COR certification processes.

  • Strong understanding of provincial and federal HSE laws and regulations.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and other digital tools.

  • Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50% of work time).
