Ensure the organization complies with all local, state, and federal HSE legislation and standards.
Develop and deliver HSE training programs for staff and contractors to build HSE capability across the organization.
Monitoring and measurement: Monitor and evaluate HSE performance metrics, track trends, and analyse data to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
Perform internal audits and create safety reports for management, providing data and recommendations for improvement.
Liaise with management, employees, and external stakeholders to promote safety and ensure project compliance.
Drive continuous improvement in HSE performance through the implementation of best practices, lessons learned, and feedback mechanisms. Manage various programs and initiative such as LOTO, machine safety, waste reduction.
Provide HSE guidance and support to senior management, department heads, and project teams, promoting a proactive approach to risk management and HSE excellence.
Support in driving contractor HSE management system includes pre-qualification, screening, orientation and training, ongoing supervision and performance evaluation
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
Graduation or Post graduation in science or engineering
Advance/Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational health, Fire or Industrial safety from a reputed institution.
Certified lead auditor for Environment and OHS and energy management systems - ISO 14001, ISO 45001
Relevant qualification in Environmental sustainability and climate change will be an added advantage
Proven experience in a senior health, safety, and environmental management role, with 15+ years of experience in a large manufacturing organisation.
Strong knowledge of relevant HSE regulations, standards, and best practices
Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities to develop and implement effective HSE programs and initiatives
Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks, analyse data and develop appropriate control measures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including factories, departments, and external partners
Ability to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and sustainability trends.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
