How You'll Make an Impact

  • Develop, implement, and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost control systems to support end-to-end project financial management.

  • Monitor project expenditures, commitments, and actuals against approved budgets, identifying variances and supporting corrective actions.

  • Prepare financial reports, cost analyses, and performance metrics for project stakeholders and senior management.

  • Collaborate with project managers to establish baselines, track progress, and manage change orders and claims.

  • Conduct financial risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard project outcomes.

  • Participate in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation activities, providing financial insights throughout.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide financial input into contract negotiations and vendor management activities.

  • Support internal and external audits related to project finances.

  • Drive continuous improvement of project controlling processes, tools, and reporting quality.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in project controls, financial analysis, or project accounting within a large multinational environment or project-driven industry.

  • Strong understanding of project management principles and the financial lifecycle of complex projects.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control practices.

  • Experience using project control systems such as SAP, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to diverse stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet demanding deadlines.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.

  • Experience with international projects and currency considerations is desirable.

  • Fluency in English is required; Dutch is considered an advantage.
