Position summary

will manage risks/opportunities, control financials, coordinate with key stakeholders, and ensure successful project close-out and formal contract acceptance.

This position is exclusively for a project based in Pasir Gudang, Johor. Applicants must be willing to work in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

How you'll make an impact:

  • You will collaborate with the Project Team to support project execution, define the execution strategy, and oversee planning, monitoring, financials, and resource management to ensure timely delivery, cost control, and smooth handover.

  • You will manage project risks and opportunities, ensure contract closure, procure resources, and support negotiation and change management together with the Project Team.

  • You will together with the Project Team, ensures coordination with key stakeholders such as partners, other consultants, the client, manufacturers, supplies, contractors, regulators and governmental officials.

  • You will lead and support the Project Team in defining guidelines, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, collaborating on project planning documents, - including scope, schedule, financials, and risk plans - to ensure proper execution of all planned activities.

  • You will ensure project execution aligns with best practices and policies, monitor progress, financials, and resource use, manage risks and opportunities, capture lessons learned and drive formal project acceptance and contract close-out with client acknowledgment

  • You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Base location Pasir Gudang Johor Bahru (Project duration estimated about 4 years).

Your background:

  • Experience working with electrical systems

  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar role within Project Management, ideally within the same segment or industry.

  • Proven experience managing projects under various contractual models, including turnkey and service-based contracts.

  • Proficient in project scheduling and reporting tools such as SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and Power BI.

  • Familiarity with Primavera P6 is an advantage. Project Management certification is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrates flexibility, strong teamwork capabilities, results orientation, proactivity, and excellent organizational skills.

  • Solid understanding of OSHA standards is highly desirable.

  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
