Your background:
Master's or PhD degree in Mechanics, Material Engineering, or related field.
Strong fundamentals in mechanical design, dynamic and static analysis, material strength, and a basic understanding of typical manufacturing technologies.
Working experience (2+ years) with CAD/CAE modeling and FEM analysis. Knowledge of the commercial tools (e.g., Ansys, ABAQUS, LS/Dyna, COMSOL, CREO, ...)
Understanding of FE algorithms, including linear and non-linear static, implicit and explicit dynamics (large deformation, short-circuit forces, seismic analysis, fluid-structure interaction), vibration (modal analysis, vibroacoustic, damping, ...), fracture mechanics.
Knowledge about fluid dynamics and heat transfer will be a plus.
Ability to model various material types: metals, thermoplastics and thermosets, fiber composites, elastomers and rubbers, liquids and gasses.
Willingness to take an interdisciplinary approach and learn new knowledge when working with experts from different domains.
In addition, the following skills would be beneficial for the role:
Ability to write simple codes and user subroutines in CAD/CAE software packages.
Knowledge about power network business, green energy, respective requirements, and industry standards.
