Position summary

utilities, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), EPCs, and developers to enable stand-alone and hybrid battery energy storage projects.

  • Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with our sales and product management teams to deliver tailored solutions for European markets.

  • Drive Results: Achieve ambitious sales targets and revenue goals for BESS and PCS.

  • Strategize for Success: Develop and execute a regional go-to-market strategy aligned with global objectives.

  • Represent Hitachi Energy: Attend major conferences, trade shows, and industry forums as our ambassador.

What You'll Do

  • Identify, qualify, and close opportunities in utility-scale PV and BESS projects.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • Manage your sales pipeline with discipline-forecasting, cadence calls, and account reviews.

  • Map key market players and decision-makers for comprehensive coverage.

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define solution fit and influence the roadmap.

  • Support bids, proposals, and technical evaluations for customers.

  • Monitor market trends and develop effective marketing activities.

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of technical sales or business development experience in power electronics, inverters, PCS, or utility-scale technologies.

  • Proven track record selling to utilities and IPPs at $M+ levels.

  • Strong network with EPCs and developers in utility-scale storage markets.

  • Success in global, matrixed organizations with cross-functional collaboration.

  • Passion, curiosity, and the ability to lead complex sales cycles.

  • Fluency in English and Danish (mandatory); knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
