Position summary

w You'll Make an Impact**

  • Provide advanced technical support to Operations and Engineering on service digital products and solutions.

  • Deliver training on new products and services to internal teams and customers.

  • Provide technical advice and troubleshooting for Field Service Engineers.

  • Manage and coordinate improvement initiatives across the Service Digital portfolio.

  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of the BU Service digital portfolio in partnership with Product Service Centers, Marketing, Sales, and Operations.

  • Review technical drawings and documentation to clarify scope and align project needs.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define training programs and sales initiatives that enhance customer experience.

  • Support the product/service lifecycle-from development and launch to maintenance and customer support-and represent the digital service business at trade shows and industry events.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an IT-related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in application engineering or service.

  • Skilled in Protection/Control relays, IEDs, SCADA, Supervisory Systems, equipment monitoring, electrical
    instrumentation, process instrumentation, process automation, communication protocols and similar.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; able to build solid relationships with customers and internal teams.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently; willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 20%.
