Position summary

  • Manage daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, storage, picking, packing, and inventory control

  • Coordinate logistics and inventory activities to support timely delivery of materials to service operations and customers

  • Partner with service leadership and cross-functional teams to support warehouse strategy and operational alignment

  • Guide inventory management practices such as cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain accurate stock levels

  • Apply warehouse systems and data to monitor performance, study workflows, and improve operational efficiency

  • Identify and implement warehouse process improvements, including automation opportunities

  • Maintain a safety-first culture by partnering with HSE and Quality teams and reinforcing safe work practices

  • Develop, maintain, and deploy standard operating procedures and work instructions

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related or equivalent field

  • 5-7 years of experience in warehouse or distribution center management

  • Experience managing direct teams in a warehouse or operations environment

  • Background in facility management and/or implementing new warehouse operations is a plus

  • Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA for inventory or warehouse management, preferably within the EWM module

  • Knowledge of inventory control practices, including FIFO, stock allocation, stock aging, and cycle counting

  • Comfortable working in a factory or warehouse environment

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to regional sites, as needed
