The role requires excellent collaboration with team members, other IT organizations, key stakeholders and business partners to meet the needs of the business as well as that of the customers.

    Required Technical and Professional Expertise

    • experience in level 2 customer service software support

    • experience in Unix shell scripting

    • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix

    • Knowledge of Cloud software monitoring in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment

    • Knowledge of business analytics and cognitive computing

    • Knowledge of Docker containers

    Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

    • Experience with Relational Databases (IBM DB2, Oracle) as well as NoSQL (MongoDB, Postgres)
    • Knowledge of PaaS, IaaS (Softlayer), and virtualization technologies
    • Knowledge in J2EE Application Servers - IBM WebSphere AS, JBoss, or Tomcat
    • Programming experience with Java, Go, or Python
    • Ability to both work independently as well as in a team environment
    • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments
