Engineering Manager

h Product management groups to define feature needs and deliverables. You'll be responsibile and expected to deilver the argreed on features and functions in the time decided. Clear communications of development progress and obstacles is expected and required.
Primary job responsibilities

• Manage a team of up to 10 engineers delivering all aspects of a Storage Management SW stack

• Negotiate and defined deliverables required by the team on a regular release cycle

• Ensure the delivery program, product management, and other groups are aware of our commitments, progress, and issues when they arise

• Learn and Lead the development cycle: from requirements gathering, scoping, and source code development and peer reviewing, to eventual release.

• Work with a globally-distributed team.

• Actively participate with the entire management team to discuss stragies and implements to satisfy or product/customer needs

• Keep the team being managed informed and do the necessary thing to support a high performance product delivery

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• Enough knowledge of a full stack implementation of a Storage Management stack to lead a group of full stack developers

• Adequate understanding of the following technologies ti be able to manage a groupf of developers: containerization technologies such as Docker/Podman, Linux systems, UI Frameworks (Angular or React), and tools to manage a product delivery.

• Familiarity with network configuration (ipv4/ipv6)

• Experience with storage
• 5 years leading a small development team
