    Position summary

    ive approaches for design that will enable the next-generation of scaled quantum computers. Applicants are expected to have familiarity with software engineering, microwave engineering, and relevant hardware development tools such as Keysight ADS, Ansys Electronics Desktop, Cadence Virtuoso/Spectre etc. Because the role includes collaboration between several diverse and dynamic teams of technical and operations personnel, good communication skills, initiative, and a strong sense of responsibility are key.

    Required Technical and Professional Expertise

    • At least 2 years of experience with software engineering

    • At least 1 year of experience with microwave engineering/RFIC design or similar

    • Python

    • C++

    • Linux

    • Familiarity with layout and validation of physical designs (e.g of PCBs, ICs, custom masks etc.)

    Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

    • Familiarity with electromagnetic simulation software (e.g, Ansys Electronics Desktop)
    • Familiarity with RFIC design/simulation (e.g., with Keysight ADS or in a Cadence/Synopsys/Mentor IC design toolchain)
    • Familiarity with high-speed board/package design and analysis (e.g., with Cadence Allegro, Altium Design, Siemens Xpedition)
    • Familiarity with quantum computing
    • Process design kit development
