    Your Role and Responsibilities

    *This position is for IBM Japan Digital Services, Ltd. (IJDS).

    Assignments will be based on experience, skills, and preferences. You will be involved in various phases from upstream processes such as requirement definition, customer negotiation, and planning proposals, to design and development work, as well as operation and maintenance after release.

    Your primary responsibilities include:

    • Designing and developing applications and systems for customers in the financial, manufacturing, distribution, and public/utility industries.

    Required Technical and Professional Expertise

    • Ability to communicate smoothly in Japanese with clients and project members

    • Experience in designing and developing web applications and business systems using Java, JavaScript, TypeScript etc.

    • Experience in designing and developing mobile applications (iOS, Android) using Swift/Kotlin, etc.

    • Experience in designing and developing ISV packages such as ERP (SAP/Oracle) and CRM (Salesforce).

    Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

    • Experience in projects in finance (banking/insurance/credit card), manufacturing, distribution, and public/utility industries.
    • Experience in the development of Db2/WACs/DataStage/IBM WAS/Shell/TWS, etc.
    • Certified in IBM Cloud/AWS/Azure or equivalent knowledge/experience.
