The job holder is being involved in the management of live production systems and testing environment performing systems level configuration, as well as analyzing business requirements to define, maintain and enhance applications/systems.
As required, the jobholder develops test cases and scenarios, executes test scenarios, and validates test results with IBM and/or externally with customers, working within established processes and procedures.
Technical Specialists will be involved in new or complex designs, layouts, products, devices, components, methods or procedures as they assist with the improvement of technical procedures and/or business processes within area of technical specialty to enhance client's technical operation, offering technical assistance to management and team members.

**Responsibilities:

**

The positionholder is responsible for supporting the logistics processes and procedures by maintaining the systems' availability, performance, and keeping the applications updated to fulfil all existing and any newly risen business need.

Tasks:

On the operations area, the following tasks are allocated:

• Supporting all European Global Logistics Systems and End-users

• Working closely together with the Development Team

• Taking major part of problem resolution by actual resolving or by ticket opening

• Playing an interface between the end users / first level support and the Development Team

• Having an overall very good knowledge of the systems and keeping it up-to-date

• Actively participating in the knowledge sharing with the local SLS Team

Additionally, the following tasks are allocated:

• Supports business transformation projects and initiatives
• Takes an active role in the application development by

  • o Proposing new changes (user stories)

  • o Working together with the developers on the solution (external design)

  • o Conducting the tests - incuding delegation and coordination if needed and participating in the deployments

Required education

High School Diploma/GED

Preferred education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

Requirements:

• • High School Degree (GED) is a must

• • BA is preferred

• • 2 Years of experience as a Business Analyst / Second Level support / similar position

• • Very good english, both verbally and in writing

Soft skill Requirements:

• • Good communication skills

• • Ability to articulate and compare alternative approaches

• • Negotiation with specified objectives with client / application / business team

• • Working on professional level projects with guidance from more experienced individuals

Preferred technical and professional experience

• BA degree is preferred

• 2 Years of experience as QA Test Developer / Business Analyst / Second Level support / similar position
