    Position summary

    Work with internal global teams to ensure security incidents are handled in a timely and professional manner and contribute to the continuous improvement of the IT security posture across IBM.

    Required Technical and Professional Expertise
    Incident Response Coordinator:

    • Experienced in incident management and understand security incident management standards and best practices.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Japanese, and other languages a plus.
    • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
    • Knowledge of common security threats, attack vectors, and intrusion techniques.
    • Knowledge of Unix shell and common scripting languages for data manipulation.

    Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
    • 2+ years of experience in incident response, digital forensics, or both in a global enterprise.
    • At least one professional certification in information security (CISSP, GIAC, CFCE, CCE, DFCP, GCIH, etc.).
    • Detailed knowledge of IBM Resilient.
