Position summary

- Create Ansible playbooks and maintain useful written information about our infrastructure
- Care and feeding of hundreds of physical machines including purchasing as we need to replace EOL machines
- Support internal customers by resolving incident and service requests
- Coordinate with members of the global Storage Engineering team
- Participate in continuous improvement
- Lead / Mentor other team members
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Great troubleshooting and debugging skills and a passion for problem solving
- Advanced experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, or Fedora
- Experience with hybrid cloud technologies, e.g., OpenShift, OpenStack, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with tools like Ansible, Bash, Python, Git
- Experience with enterprise data center operations and monitoring
- Ability to work in a geographically distributed team
- Willingness to embrace challenge with a positive attitude and a solid customer focus
- Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
*Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
