Salary Range US Remote 150,000 - 202,000 USD per year Your Job The Director of Global Marketing Strategy will lead the development of our long-term Marketing strategy for Indeed globally, covering all countries where Indeed has a market presence. The ideal candidate is passionate about strategic thinking, has a bold vision and an inclination towards innovative ways to grow our business. This senior marketer will have marketing and management consulting experience on a global scale. This is a highly impactful role with the opportunity to transform how people find jobs and companies hire, and inform all of Indeed’s marketing activities. In this position, you will be successful by achieving the following: Strategy: Lead our Marketing organization in drafting the best go to market strategy for all our 3 main audiences: Job Seekers (B2C) and SMB and Enterprise companies (B2B) in each of our top 20 countries Ensure Marketing’s long-term strategic plan is aligned with and delivers on the corporate strategic plan and vision Market & Competition: Form and socialize a robust view of the market and competitive dynamics for each of Indeed’s main regions Be the best sparring partner of the markets by understanding key segments and customer/user needs Influence our user and customer research agenda globally Spot unmatched customer needs and opportunities to grow our business Budgets: Collaborate with Finance and Strategy & Operations in setting the best investment level for each country globally Work with internal analytics partners to make recommendations for how Marketing budgets should be deployed across all our audiences (Job Seekers, SMBs, Enterprises) in each of Indeed’s operating countries Call out trade offs, set business priorities and align the rest of the Marketing organization towards the best possible allocation of spend Leadership Be an effective member of the Country Marketing Leadership Team (CMLT) Work within our extremely international and diverse team spread across 18 time zones Bootstrap from scratch the Marketing Strategy team by attracting amazing talent and growing it over time Get stuff done -- execute briskly with precision, in alignment with our goals and standards standards Stakeholders management: Champion our Marketing strategy within the Marketing organization and provide a north star for all Marketers to align to Communicate our Marketing strategy across the broader Indeed organization, across Sales, Client Success, Finance, Product, and other departments Who You Are About you - Requirements: Over 12-15 years total experience with at least 5 years in Marketing and 3 in Management Consulting Strategic thinking coupled with practical business acumen Ability to simplify large and complex data sets into synthetic recommendations Strong communication and presentation (building and delivering) skills English language native speaker level, Japanese or German being a plus Customer focus and passion for contributing to a better world Preferred: International mindset, with experience working across global markets Comfortable with ambiguity and entrepreneurship Data-driven with strong numerical skills Strong networking attitude, experience building effective relationships with international stakeholders across every level of seniority Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, MBA preferred Who We Are Our Marketing team helps job seekers and employers around the world discover Indeed.
