As the Lead Program Manager for Talent Planning, you will support the strategy development, integration, measurement, and long-term impact of talent and succession planning initiatives. You will act as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert for your stakeholders who are primarily the HR Business Partner Team as well as organizational leaders. This position will require you to dig deep into the research and debate over ever-changing models of talent planning, succession management and organization development in order to inform our work, keep it current, and advise the business. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Talent and Leadership Development. Primary Responsibilities: Manage the development and implementation of Indeed’s Talent Planning and Succession programs, processes, and systems Collaborate across HR and business teams to assess needs and ensure global consistency as we deliver world-class talent initiatives Develop the talent planning timelines and milestones in connection with all other HR programming Promote and build upon the Talent and Succession Planning philosophies, narratives, and key objectives Indeed has outlined Partner with the Workday team to make system improvements to streamline and enhance the employee and manager experience Prepare and deliver trainings and resources for HRBPs, managers, and leaders to effectively contribute to Talent and Succession Planning Provide real-time support to HRBPs, managers, and leaders throughout key milestones and deliverables of the process Partner with HR Analytics to analyze talent data; draw insights regarding themes, gaps, and focus areas; and drive strategic action across HR, the business, and the leadership programs team Drive accountability and follow-through with HRBPs, managers, and leaders to support the development of Indeed’s leadership bench Who You Are Experience: 7+ years of experience in learning and development and/or organization development with a focus on talent planning and succession management 2+ years of experience directly managing a team. Hybrid team management experience a plus Experience launching large-scale, global projects which involved significant change management, adaptability and agility, influence, and stakeholder management Experience implementing Talent Planning Modules (in tools such as Workday) including planning, design, training, and change management to support implementation processes Working in a growing, continually changing, and matrixed tech environment Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Talent Planning, Succession Management, and Organization Development disciplines, inclusive of best practices Storytelling with data to support strategic decision making HRISs and other talent management tools Effective change management Skills: Approaches challenges and problem solving with a global and inclusive mindset Effectively managing change and shifting gears comfortably; highly effective in ambiguous environments and able to produce maximum results with little direction and guidance Communicating effectively and working collaboratively across mediums and with diverse audiences, with emphasis on senior-level audiences Relationship builder who can influence across levels, functions and cultures Client-service oriented with strong critical thinking and communication skills A strong bias for action and knowledge sharing Who We Are Our Human Resources team champions our culture while working tirelessly to attract and retain the best people.
