Salary Range SF Bay Area 196,000 - 284,000 USD per year Your Job As a Software Engineering Manager at Indeed, you will provide hands-on leadership of a team of developers building integrations to partner systems. Requirements: BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a closely related computer technical field with 5+ years experience programming with at least one of the following languages: Java, C++, C#, Python, Go, or Perl; 5+ years of experience in leading software development with a consistent track record of on-time delivery for large, cross-functional projects 2+ years of people management and direct coaching of software developers, helping them improve their skills and grow their careers Significant prior success as a Software Engineer working on challenging problems Experience advising your team on architecture and implementation of software problems Solid cross functions and cross organization communication and people skills An understanding of the value derived from shipping code rapidly to production and learning/iterating on the results.
