You will be part of Indeed’s International business unit that focuses on solving problems for job seekers and employers in high-priority markets like India, Europe and Japan. As part of a Strategic team in Hyderabad, you will focus on building for India & emerging markets. You will address difficult & unique challenges in these diverse markets that have the potential to bring the next billion jobseekers. All while having a lot of fun working with a passionate, high energy, talented group of explorers! Your role We are constantly experimenting with new product ideas and creating mini-startups within our group. Some of these startups succeed and many fail. You will be leading one or more of these explorations, bringing ideas to life through strategic product thinking, designing user-centric experiences, and building products at scale through solid engineering and product development practices. You’ll wear multiple hats & work closely with a team of designers, engineers, analysts, researchers and other specialists to create products that drive global impact. You will constantly create hypotheses for improving your product, convince your stakeholders on problems worth solving, help build and test solutions with users, analyze data, learn from the results and define the next course of action. You’ll drive business growth by setting ambitious goals and defining a comprehensive strategy for your product area. That means you, not the VP of Product or the CEO, will decide what success means for your product and outline a roadmap for achieving it. We will count on you to: Build products and processes that help people get jobs. Create a strong, consistent narrative that clearly articulates the vision for your product, goals, and its path to success Influence colleagues and senior leadership teams towards the long-term vision. Understand pain points, identify and prioritize opportunities. Define product goals and metrics. Validate hypothesis by conducting research, performing experiments and analyzing results. Collaborate with teams across geographies to quickly deliver across multiple product areas. Who You Are You must have Consumer product management experience with a proven record of successfully launching products at scale. Ability to prioritize and articulate your product roadmap across business functions and work with geographically dispersed teams to get things done. Deep understanding of web or mobile development technology. Experience collaborating with user research, design and engineering. Experience in designing for new-to-internet users and/or vernacular users is a big plus! Deeply analytical mindset and track record for making data driven decisions. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Deep understanding of web or mobile development technology. You would fit right in if you have Built consumer products or services from the ground up & scaled them. Experience in designing for new-to-internet users and/or vernacular users is a big plus! Ability to inspire, motivate, & guide people, right from designers, engineers & analysts to senior leadership. Experience in mentoring and/or hiring other product managers. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
