Salary Range Austin 75,000 - 105,000 USD per year Your Job The Real Estate Collaboration Technology team is responsible for managing and growing Indeed’s global real estate portfolio. We design, plan and implement any projects related to office expansions, retrofits, COVID-19 impacted re-entry/safety projects, build-outs, and moves - with a dedicated focus on providing a fun and results-oriented work environment for our Indeedians. We are looking for someone who has experience in technology builds (ISP, Network, Wireless, Phone, A/V, Structure Cabling, Security, etc.) for corporate real estate projects. The role requires experience working with general contractors, architects, MEP engineers, and technology consultants for the design and build process. It is critical to understand the full life-cycle of a new build-out and experienced project leadership, planning, execution, control, data integrity, financial responsibility, and project closeout. A successful candidate is extremely organized, confident and demonstrates strong prioritization skills. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring daily coordination of project activities between the workplace strategy, construction, brokerage, IT, and finance teams. Responsibilities: Manage & track technical activities: Verify and provide feedback on technical drawings (elevations, schematics, lines/red-lines, floor plans, RCP) and bill of materials/pricing Working Technical of Unified Communication (UC) Tools: Working knowledge of VC platforms such as Zoom, Meet and/or Teams. Manage vendors in IT/AV builds functions: Manage relationships with technical project team members (i.e. Indeed staff, vendor partners and third-party contractor staff) as appropriate, to ensure project delivery timelines are met, and accurately reflected in reporting metrics Work hand-in-hand with other technical workstreams: Assist with managing technical activities on builds (ISP, Network, Wireless, VoIP, Structure Cabling, Security, etc) Function as a project manager: Set project-specific goals and objectives, follow technical project plans, assumptions, budgets, schedules, deliverables, milestones, etc. and provide feedback to team leads for process improvement. Provide regularly scheduled project reports, incorporating updates on schedule, finances and risks and issues to inform operational health Oversee costs and budget: Track and compile actuals incurred; provide justification for change orders or variances. Partner with Construction, Workplace Strategy, and Project Management workstreams: Work alongside Architects and other design teams in space design to preserve aesthetic design while providing state of the art functionality Provide warm handoff to internal tech stakeholders: Be a liaison between Real Estate and IT organization in order to manage project timelines and expectations. Provide and guarantee warm handoff and training to local IT Solutions staff on installed & deployed technology. Be a risk manager and mitigator: Identify risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies to manage risk across the portfolio Who You Are CTS-D/I certification is preferred AutoCAD proficiency is preferred 2 to 4 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction as a technical resource manager Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects, priorities and people concurrently in a fast-paced, high-growth and results driven environment Design and construction project management experience that includes the following: Project management as an Owner’s representative Ability to coordinate project design and construction teams with end-users, in-house IT, audio visual, security teams, etc Experience with typical technology company project types: conference rooms, town halls, broadcast studios, server rooms, etc Experience with fast-track design-build construction Strong background in commercial/industrial construction to include mechanical, electrical, tenant improvements, site work and ground up construction; Excellent written and verbal communication, with focus on planning, execution, and follow up Strong analytical skills; works well under pressure Experience using typical software for managing projects and ability to learn new project management software quickly Able to work well with others and create strong field and corporate relationships Dedication to deliver consistent customer service Internally and externally Strong individual contributor.
