Salary Range NYC Metro Area 130,000 - 170,000 USD per year Your Job Indeed is looking for a Senior Manager, Global SMB Direct Mail to lead a growing team of direct mail professionals to deliver the strategy, execution, and optimization of direct mail programs across numerous markets worldwide. The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading and mentoring the team through the day-to-day marketing planning and operations to acquire new customers and reactivate dormant customers, as well as seeking out solutions to improve efficiencies. What you will do: Lead a diverse team of direct mail marketing managers and various vendors as you manage the entire Indeed SMB Global direct mail program Manage your team’s execution of the following responsibilities: Design, plan, execute and measure direct mail campaigns for acquisition and reactivation audiences Create and maintain a yearlong creative testing roadmap for all direct marketing campaigns. Rigorously test direct mail attributes; from content and format to lists, selects, and segmentation. Where appropriate, introduce new test variables aimed at improving overall response rates: creative, offer, inserts, envelopes, lists, etc. Ensure that all campaigns are optimized towards their key performance metric, have a clear definition of success defined ahead of campaign launch, and have an approved measurement plan in place. Collaborate with internal product marketing, creative, and promotion teams to ensure that all creative reflects most relevant/recent updates to brand, messaging, and promotion best practices. Proofread all marketing material to ensure accuracy. Establish landing pages and redirect URLs are built ahead of campaign go live dates. Review post-campaign data and ensure results for free of any major issues. Analyze campaign results, report on campaign performance at regular intervals (30/60/90 days), and provide recommendations for future initiatives. You are directly responsible for the following: Development of annual program budget request that includes total campaign portfolio along with the necessary budgets, acquisition & reactivation targets goals, and CPA targets per program. Work with direct reports to manage calendar of all direct marketing campaigns and ensure each campaign has an appropriate work back schedule to ensure timelines are met, problems are adequately communicated and facilitate contingency plans as needed. Partner with appropriate list vendors to ensure that all relevant performance and internal analysis are layered into existing models and work together on a clear strategy to improve list response rates and overall portfolio performance. Provide input to your direct reports on campaign strategy, new ideas and efficiency improvements Negotiate rates with vendors and identify cost-savings initiatives Establish and maintain strong working relationships with longstanding partners to seamlessly launch campaigns Drive Direct Mail best practices within the marketing department Be an advocate for program growth, exploring new opportunities and being flexible to take advantage of the growing needs of the program and internal stakeholders Recruit and develop top talent to support the growing needs of the program Who You Are Minimum 8+ years of direct mail marketing experience. With 5+ years experience of full campaign ownership (Strategy, Planning, Executing and Analyzing Campaigns). Experience managing a team and providing leadership & mentorship in a high-growth business. Proven track record of project managing medium/large programs and scaling those programs with ease and organization. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a passion for testing and measuring results (minimum intermediate excel/sheets, advanced preferred). Experience designing and measuring complex tests, optimizing based on results. Bias towards analytics and measurement with extensive experience having your initiatives measured against or towards revenue-related goals. Has sent over 10 million pieces of direct mail and acquired customers at CPA targets. Significant experience working with list brokers, modeling companies and mailhouses. Able to manage a multi-faceted global direct mail program with ease. Excellent project management and organization skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in an unstructured environment. Excellent communication, articulating points of view, hypothesis and business justifications backed by data. Detail-oriented with exceptional curiosity, critical thinking, and solution-driven capabilities. Ability to promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organization in a matrixed environment. Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization in a remote/flex work environment. Strong attention to detail and follow-up. Excellent written communication and strong presentation skills. Familiarity with Google Suite products. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (quantitative disciplines preferred).
