As a Bidding & Optimization Sr Product Manager you will have a lot of impact to drive performance. You’ll be responsible for owning and delivering successful outcomes for customers of Indeed’s Advertising products. You will work closely with a team of data scientists and software engineers to deliver candidates to Indeed’s home-built interview platform and to advance our usage of audiences to deliver against employer’s hiring objectives. You will lead strategy and execution on the product roadmap that enables customers to succeed with their advertising campaigns within the Indeed marketplace. Responsibilities Identify market opportunities and define product vision and strategy. Build and articulate a product roadmap with the goal of building best-in-class bidding and optimization capabilities that maximize the value of each impression Evaluate the results of experiments to quickly iterate and build new features into bidding models and optimization strategies and make data driven decisions Drive execution by engaging closely with Engineering to help determine the best technical implementation as well as a reasonable implementation schedule. Collaborate with customer facing stakeholders to identify, monitor product goals and success metrics. Communicate effectively to articulate the product's current state, investment areas to influence stakeholders and leadership. Work closely with other advertising technologies, products and systems to execute on necessary technical integrations. Who You Are The ideal candidate will have the following industry experience: 6+ years of product management experience, including in the advertising space building capabilities to deliver on customer objectives. Understanding of matching and recommendations systems would be an asset Understanding of the technology and machine learning models that power Real-time bidding, Programmatic, Exchanges, Supply Side Platforms, Demand Side Platforms, 1st and 2nd price auctions, cross-device and cross-channel targeting Experience working with data scientists and engineers to build data pipelines, machine learning models and advertising tech that can deliver outcomes for advertising customers Experience driving the product vision, roadmap, design discussions and partner on go-to-market strategy. Direct experience managing, leading cross-functional teams through influence and collaboration. The ability to simplify and articulate complex, technical topics for both technical and non-technical audiences, since this role requires a strong understanding of technology and services related to advertising technology. A strong desire to problem solve through collaboration and work as a part of a team Excellent written and oral communication skills Experience working in organizations having geographically distributed teams and stakeholders This job has the following educational requirements: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, or equivalent experience is a must have.
