Salary Range Austin 124,000 - 173,000 USD per year Your Job Indeed’s Security Engineering team is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join and lead Security Engineering’s programs. This role will be responsible for supporting and driving cross-organizational efforts to improve our Application Security maturity. You will work daily with Security Engineering leadership and their teams, collaborate closely with the Security PMO, and work with Indeed’s Product and Technology Organizations to define and manage initiatives to manage our Application Security risks. Who You Are You have 7+ years experience working as a project manager with experience leading large and complex cross-functional projects in a technology company. 3+ years supporting Application Security Programs for Web, API and Mobile applications. You have 3+ years experience managing other project managers because you will be growing this function and team over the next year. Excellent Data analysis and reporting skills (SQL, Tableau etc) Highly adaptable in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment; thrives when working independently. You have worked closely with Security teams and controls frameworks such as OpenSAMM, BSIMM, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, PCI-DSS, and/or others. You have worked closely with software engineers, QA, product managers, and other engineering teams to adopt secure processes and practices. You have experience influencing your leadership in setting expectations for initiatives within your scope of responsibility. You are comfortable talking about technical matters with business people and business matters with technical people. You are successful at getting buy-in for your ideas with a demonstrated affinity for metrics. You naturally exude team-building, motivating, and conflict-resolving qualities. Ability to manage key customer relationships. You are decisive - you gather the data and make and communicate informed, critical decisions quickly, with minimal supervision. You have executed multi-team initiatives: defined project plans, coordinated resources, managed implementation activities, and developed all processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support. You have led technical programs for a technology company, involving cross-functional teams to take products to market, ensuring success metrics inform future efforts, and fine tuning the program as needed. Experience developing RFP (Requests for Proposals) for external goods and services preferred You have significant agile/lean experience in a product owner or scrum master role, organizations leveraging lean/agile methodologies and in-depth experience with specific agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban or SAFE.
