The Incubator is seeking an experienced and versatile UX Researcher to lead and support a number of research initiatives. This role is part individual researcher, part mentor, and part visionary. As a UX Researcher you will recommend, design, and execute research to understand user needs, synthesize findings, and collaborate with cross fractionational teams to create effective and usable software. You will also be responsible for collaborating closely with UX Designers to advise and support on their research projects. Lastly, this role will help Incubator Leadership and Product Managers gather the necessary inputs to inform ideations and strategy efforts for new products. We are looking for an experienced qualitative or mixed-methods UX Researcher who can help deeply understand our user’s needs and translate those into improved experiences. Partner with product, design, and engineering to influence the vision that drives our product development Develop and deliver impactful research that informs decisions across the product lifecycle Identify the best research approaches to get the right answers based on research questions, timing, and resources Collaborate with other Indeed research teams to leverage existing data wherever possible Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and recommendations that your partners can act upon Manage relationships with research vendors to help execute multiple lines of research Mentor and coach designers on research practices Incubator Principles: Love the problem, not the solution.
