As a UX Researcher at Indeed, you will surface, design, and execute research to understand our customers’ needs, synthesize findings, and collaborate with our product partners to create effective and usable user experiences. We are looking for a qualitative UX Researcher who can help deeply understand job seekers’ needs and translate those into improved experiences. In this role, you will seek to understand the “why” behind behaviors and attitudes of the wide variety of job seekers. These efforts will ensure the experiences we create are easy to use, useful, and efficient. You’ll be working on a highly collaborative research team that has researchers from a variety of disciplines. Your primary responsibilities include: Partner with product, design, and engineering to identify research questions and design evaluation opportunities Develop and deliver research that informs decisions for a particular product area Leverage existing research team members and vendors for recruiting and research support, as needed Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and recommendations that your partners can act upon Evangelize the voice of the job seeker throughout the product development process Who You Are 2+ years conducting research for software/web-based products Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience Able to execute all research-related tasks in the research project lifecycle, while leveraging tried and true research methodologies including remote testing Balances speed with the appropriate level of depth to deliver meaningful insights quickly Demonstrates ability to turn research results into consumable recommendations for product teams Manages projects efficiently, focusing on one study at a time while having one eye towards the next study Who We Are We are a fast-moving, data-driven UX team building the most popular job site on the planet.
