Preferred Qualifications:
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks and scripts using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript)
Lead end-to-end automation activities, including API, web UI, and data-driven testing suited for complex insurance systems
Manage and mentor a distributed team of automation engineers, providing technical direction, code reviews, and promoting QA best practices
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to analyze requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure comprehensive test coverage
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to support rapid release cycles and continuous delivery
Analyze and report test results, triage failures, and drive defect resolution in collaboration with development teams
Advanced expertise in Playwright for web automation with strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
Demonstrated leadership in building and maintaining test automation frameworks and solutions for web-based applications
Experience testing complex insurance systems or similar regulated domains, understanding core processes such as policy management, claims, underwriting, and compliance
Deep understanding of Agile testing methodologies and the role of automation in Agile teams
Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into modern CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with BDD frameworks, REST API testing, Regression, cross-browser/platform automation, and API mocking
Experience with other test automation tools and scripting as a plus (e.g., Selenium)
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
