    Position summary

    • Work location will be Hartford, CT This position may require relocation and / or travel to project locations

    Must Have

    • Technical IT experience for 5+ years.

    • Azure/Cloud experience for 1+ years.

    • Basic scripting knowledge to write code in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.

    • Basic knowledge and experience on Azure ADLS and Azure Databricks are required. (Equivalent

    • products like AWS S3/AzureML/etc are okay)

    • Candidate is not expected to have prior knowledge or experience on all cloud resources and

    • instead will be provided enough time to learn a new resource and enable it.

    • Experience leading a small team (1-2 team members).

    Responsibilities:

    • Azure Databricks & ADLS - understand all available features of these two products (Example -soft deletes, DR, ACLs, RBAC, Security, Clusters, etc.), maintain them using DevOps pipelines. Enable any new features by performing proof of concepts, design diagrams and building required DevOps pipelines.

    • Azure - Enable and maintain any Azure cloud resource by performing proof of concepts, design diagrams and building required DevOps pipelines.

    • Azure DevOps - Write new CI/CD DevOps pipelines using YAML/Python/PowerShell and modify existing ones if required. Must champion standard DevOps practices like Gitflow process.

    • Co-ordinate with SME/PO/PM, understand technical requirements and write Jira stories with detailed requirements & acceptance criteria for other engineers.

    • Help junior engineers with any technical issues and perform code/quality reviews.
