Position summary
Infosys is seeking a Data Engineer. This role will apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within United States.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
Minimum of 4 Years of IT experience required
U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply, we are unable to sponsor at this time
Travel readiness is mandatory. May require individuals to travel very frequently. Willingness to relocate will be advantag
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong Expertise in Spark, Python skills, followed by Big Data skills Hadoop, HIVE, SQL & Scripting
Experience in Spark Core, Spark SQL, Spark Batch, Spark Streaming, Delta Lake etc.
Experience in any one of the Cloud Technologies -AWS EMR/ AWS Glue/AWS Databricks/ Azure Databricks/ Azure HDInsight/ ADF/ADLS/ Azure Synapse/ GCP Dataflow/GCP Data Fusion/GCP DatabricksWorkflow Orchestrator : Oozie/Airflow/Azkaban/GCP Cloudflow etc.
Experience in any of the Streaming- Kafka/ AWS Kinesis / Azure EventHub/ GCP Pub/Sub etc.
Experience in any of the Databases-Hbase/ Cassandra/ MongoDB/Couchbase/PostgreSQL/Oracle etc.
Experience in modern technology architecture, data analytics tools and deployment tools
Good communication and teamwork skills must be able to work with across teams/regions
Good Analytical skills, programming skills and problem-solving skills
