Data Engineer

In the role of Data Engineer with proficiency in Python, SQL, AWS data services, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate are expected to be located either in Sunnyvale, CA or Austin, TX or willing to relocate to these locations in 2 months of joining.  This position may require travel within the US and Canada.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience in designing and developing ETL data pipelines
• Proficient in writing complex SQLs, expertise in performance tuning of SQLs
• Basic working knowledge of Python scripting and programming
• Hands-on experience in Cloud DWH is desirable
• U.S. citizens and GC holders are encouraged to apply.  

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AWS or Snowflake Data services
• Ability to play a Techno Functional role
• Hands on experience in database and table design
• Working experience with huge volumes of data would be an advantage

• Expected to lead offshore database engineers
