Industry SAP Principal Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Industry SAP Principal Consultant 
This position is a key player in the consulting team that helps in strategizing the growth opportunities in utilities industry, defining action plans, and executing the same with extended teams. You will discover and define new solutions for specific client problems and evangelize with client stakeholders. You will create business cases for new data platform solutions, create digital transformation roadmaps, collaborate with clients to execute and manage the service delivery. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of higher education in STEM or management stream

• At least 13 years of experience with Information Technology.

• Location for this position is anywhere in the US. This position may require travel and or relocation.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 13 years extensive experience as SAP Data Platform consultant with additional expertise in emerging cloud data platforms such as SAP BTP, or Hyperscalers data platforms.

• Experience with Utilities clients in implementing SAP based digital transformation programs leveraging SAP ISU, C4C, Business Warehouse, managing Data platform solutions.

• Proven track record of leading & delivering digital transformation programs or managing the service delivery of large programs across different technology platforms with strong stakeholder management and business presentation skills.

• Extensive experience in pre-sales and handling of new client pursuits by anchoring proposal responses, engage with client and lead client orals

• Thought leadership in developing business-centric advanced use-cases enabled by predictive analytics

• Responsible for managing the data platform work for various functional tracks

• Individual must have good knowledge in utilities customer service, T&D and related fields

• Should have good knowledge and understanding in management and executive reporting

• Should be well versed with various utilities 3rd party applications and scenarios

• Expertise in understanding the business requirement

• Preparing system architecture Design Documents, project planning and execution, UAT Support & signoff

• Expertise on engaging with clients to establish digital transformation roadmap enabled by agile/scrum and lean delivery methodologies

• Experience in data visualization tools such as SAP Business Objects, SAP analytics Cloud

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
