Java Microservices Developer

Infosys is seeking a Senior Java Microservices Developer - In this role you will be responsible for building/enhancing Java applications. Primary responsibility will be to create user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining Java based components and interfaces, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. In this position you will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Candidate must be located within commuting distance from Denver CO or willing to relocate to the area. This position will require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, GIT, REST API

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good to have Swagger Implementation, AWS, Log4j, Junit, Neo4J.
• Knowledge or experience in any COTS implementation for Telecom clients would be added advantage
• Analyzing user requirements, envisioning system features and functionality.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java codes by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development
• Contributing to team meetings, troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms
• Understand Architecture Requirements and ensure effective Design, Development, Validation and Support activities In-depth knowledge of design issues and best practices 
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Familiar with various design, architectural patterns and software development process.
• Experience with both external and embedded databases
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Strong communication and Analytical skills
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
 
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
