Infosys is seeking Jr. Java/J2EE Developer
In the role, you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best talents in the industry to create innovative high quality and defect-free solutions to meet our clients’ business needs. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX or initially work remotely from anywhere within the U.S and be willing to relocate to the area within 4 to 6 Weeks of joining. This position may require travel to project locations.

Basic Qualifications
Preferred Skills
• At least 2 years of experience in Java/2EE & Database
• At least 2 years of experience in Spring boot (or Spring), RESTFul web-services
• At least 3 years of experience in translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development life cycle.
• Experience in applying modern Agile Software Development practices.
• Experience in development in a CI/CD environment and familiarity with CI/CD tools is required.
• Good interpersonal and facilitation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptability is a must, including the ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies quickly.
• Strong problem determination skills and ability to resolve critical issues for complex systems under tight timeframes using dumps and other tools.
• Ability to multi task and handle multiple competing priorities with minimal direction from management
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
