Infosys is looking for a Benefits Lead for its Compensation and Benefits team. In this midlevel role, the respective individual responsible for managing and planning the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, 401(k), short-term and long-term disability, worker's compensation, life insurance and accident plan, flexible spending plan, etc.). This position provides support to employees and external customers. The administrator continually investigates new benefits programs, improves existing programs, and monitors benefits administration and reporting.

The primary responsibility will be to oversee the day-to-day administration of 401(k) Plans. Develop periodic internal audit procedures; and coordinate with various internal stakeholders (Payroll/HRSS teams) to ensure compliance with the Plan’s provisions.
Organize and attend the quarterly 401(k) Investment committee meetings
Ensure compliance requirements (NDT, notices, SPD, SMM etc.) are met within timelines
Quarterly reporting to investment committee on retirement benefits initiatives, governance projects, metrics as relevant
Reviews contracts & proposals for retirement and benefit plans including health, life, disability insurance; FSA's; and other voluntary benefits. Assists in the implementation and administration of new benefit plans. Partnering with record keeper, retirement and investment advisors.
Evaluates and makes recommendations to revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Assures company compliance with all laws and regulations pertaining to group health and welfare plans including ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, etc.
Reviews and analyzes changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits and reports necessary or suggested changes to the manager
Design and distribute materials for benefits and financial webinars, orientations, open enrollment and summary plan descriptions. Provide training and support to HR Helpdesk/other teams.
Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company's benefits package.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
