Lead Data Science Analyst

Infosys is seeking a Lead Data Science Analyst with strong background in designing and building machine learning models / algorithms to implement predictive & prescriptive analytical solutions in areas such as customer loyalty, personalization and recommendations, customer segmentation and profiling, retention analysis, churn assessment etc with experience in Python framework development as well as Machine learning using Python, Pandas, AI/ML and Spark. The position will primarily be interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:
•    Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Los Angeles, CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada.
•    Bachelor’s degree, Master’s in Analytics or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
•    U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required
•    At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
•    Minimum of 3 years of experience in Analytics / Data Engineering / Data science
•    Hands on experience in SAS/Python/SQL/Tableau preferred
•    Proven and proficient programming skills in Object oriented programming in Python.
•    Strong experience in Python data wrangling/analysis using Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, seaborn etc.
•    Strong knowledge of Azure Stack (Azure ML, Azure Databricks, Azure Storage, Azure SQL).

Preferred Qualifications:  

•    Good understanding of version control tools like git & Experience building CI/ CD pipelines.
•    Familiarity with deep learning libraries like Tensorflow, Keras, pytorch
•    Model deployment experience
•    Understanding and awareness for Data science lifecycle.
•    Excellent business communication and excellent relationship management ability and the ability to work across business units within complex organization 

The job may entail extensive travel.  The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.  Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
