Lead Java J2EE Developer

Infosys is seeking Lead Java Full Stack Developer
In the role, you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX  initially work remotely from anywhere within the U.S and be willing to relocate to the area within 4 to 6 Weeks of joining. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 4  years of experience in Java/2EE & Database

Preferred Qualifications:
• At least 4 years of experience in Spring boot (or Spring), RESTFul web-services
• At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience in Financial Services domain 
• Experience in applying modern Agile Software Development practices. 
• Experience in development in a CI/CD environment and familiarity with CI/CD tools is required.
• Experience in leading a small team from technical stand point 
• Good interpersonal and facilitation skills. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Adaptability is a must, including the ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies quickly. 
• Must be able to write technical design and build documentation for all aspects of a technical infrastructure. 
• Experience in Microservices development. 
• Experience with designing and developing solutions for highly scalable, highly available complex systems, preferably in the payment systems or other financial services industry. 
• Strong problem determination skills and ability to resolve critical issues for complex systems under tight timeframes using dumps and other tools. 
• Ability to multi task and handle multiple competing priorities with minimal direction from management 
• Should possess excellent planning and organizational skills. 
• Ability to understand systems from all levels, from the "big picture" enterprise-level view to the low-level technical view. 
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
