Manhattan PKMS Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Manhattan PKMS Consultant. This position’s primary responsibility will be to anchor for different phases of the engagement including business process consulting, problem definition, discovery, solution generation, design, development, deployment and validation; guide teams on project processes and deliverables; contribute to effort estimation, client training. The chosen candidate will play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution with an opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Role Designation: Lead Consultant - US

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Indianapolis, IN or work remotely from anywhere within the US initially and be willing to relocate to the area within 3 months. This position may require relocation and /or travel to project location.

Basic Qualifications.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
•  At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.

Must have skills and experiences:

• Experience with Manhattan PKMS, AS/400 RPG CL DB2/400, Production support.

Preferred skills:

• Good functional expertise in Warehouse management processes such as Receiving and put away, Replenishment for picking, Lot Management, Picking (Voice, RF and paper based), Shipment confirmation, Inventory Management Application, Good knowledge of MHE, Eurosort and other interfaces with inventory and Order management systems.

• Demonstrate analytical & problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Good leadership skills and ability to guide a team 5-6 team members.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
