.net Core Microservices Architect

Infosys is seeking a .net Core Architect with experience in Cloud Native, Microservices and .Net core technologies. As a .net Core Architect, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. You would be working with the client and understand the requirements. You will also work on Analysis/Design/Development/Deployment of the .Net Microservices based on the requirements gathered. You will effectively handle offshore / nearshore / onshore co-ordination and mentor the team as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

• At least 7 years of relevant Information Technology experience

• Location for this position is Fort Mills S.C./Hartford,CTThis position may require travel to project/client location.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of IT experience with .Net and Microsoft technologies.

• At least 6 years of working experience with .Net Core and other open-source frameworks

• At least 4 years of working experience in latest version of Angular is preferred

• At least 4 years of experience in AWS cloud with good understanding of EKS, CloudWatch, SQS, Glue, Document DB etc.

• Extensive experience and knowledge in API Testing Tools like Post Man/Soap UI/Thunder client

• Ability to understand and collaborate effectively with DevOps/Cloud Architects and extensive experience in CI Platforms like Jenkins/Team city and CD platforms like Octopus.

• Extensive experience in developing RESTful APIs.

• Good knowledge on security implementation for the API’s

• Experience in Performance tuning of the application will be preferred and extensive experience in designing resilient systems.

• Build reusable frameworks and components as per the reference architecture.

• Good Knowledge of API Gateway and API Management like AWS API Gateway, Apigee is preferred

• Understanding of API Integration Platforms like Mulesoft, TIBCO will be a plus

• Expertise on SOLID design principles, various application design and Architectural patterns

• Preferred experience in messaging platform like Apache Kafka/Rabit MQ

• Should be able to demonstrate POC and design solutions, ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges, and articulate solutions

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
