Power Programmer - Data Engineer

Infosys is looking for Data Engineers who must be Polyglots with expertise in multiple technologies and can work as a full-stack developer in complex engineering projects

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
Minimum 3 years of IT experience
US Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in end-to-end implementation of projects using Cloudera Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBase, Sqoop, Kafka
Strong programming knowledge in Scala or Python for Spark application development
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Unix shell scripting
Experience in data warehousing technologies, ETL/ELT implementations
Sound Knowledge of Software engineering design patterns and practices
Strong understanding of Functional programming.
Experience with Ranger, Atlas, Tez, Hive LLAP, Neo4J, NiFi, Airflow, or any DAG based tools
Good hands on in RESTful APIs
Good Hands-on experience on SQL Development.
Knowledge and experience with Cloud and containerization technologies: Azure, Kubernetes, OpenShift and Dockers
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Kibana, etc
Experience with design and implementation of ETL/ELT framework for complex warehouses/marts Knowledge of large data sets and experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting
Planning and Co-ordination skills
Good Communication and Analytical skills
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
