    Position summary

    Infosys Consulting, the management and technology consulting unit of Infosys Ltd, is seeking motivated Product Owners. Management Consultants seeking long-term growth and career-enhancing opportunities will find both as part of our team of front-runners in Financial Services Consulting.
    The Role – What You’ll Do
    As a Principal Consultant -Product Owner, you will act as the custodian of the product roadmap and plan the next iterations, plan product releases and present points of view for the product vision.

    Responsibilities:

    • Define the long-term strategy and product plan that will result in improved performance including return on investment. Developing program performance metrics and health scorecards, using data to understand program effectiveness.
    • Proactively identify and define features and requirements based on user needs, industry research, feasibility, and alignment to Company’s strategic goals
    • Develop arguments to support new capability and feature development and secure funding
    • Work with key team members, including senior managers, engineering, support, and sales, to define, develop, shape and refine product requirements
    • Collaborate with users, UX researchers and designers and developers to thoroughly understand and anticipate needs through product development cycle to ensure features developed meet the desired business goals
    • Manage the product backlog and prioritize it based on business value, user feedback and feasibility requirements.
    • Convey market needs to the feature team by refining the backlog based on business requirements
    • Accountable for the delivery of value to customers and stakeholders by ensuring that the right product is defined, prioritized, and generating business value and desired customer experience.
    • Facilitate an iterative process where user and collaborator feedback are consistently sought after and incorporated.
    • Negotiate trade-offs between cost, schedule, and business benefit, and ensure successful delivery of set features to production that meet customer needs

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Minimum 9 years of financial services experience with at least 5 years of Consumer Banking or management consulting, demonstrating proven understanding of Product Management subject area.

    • Significant experience with agile development tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Rally or similar other tools

    • Solid understanding of business, technology, and operations of the commercial line of business is preferred

    • Experience working on and delivering large digital transformation programs supported by human centered design decision approach

    • Demonstrated knowledge in strategic solution delivery models to ensure products and/or services continue to innovate and to drive continuous improvement

    • Proactively manage cross functional team & client expectations, communication, management and feedback

    • Experience in evaluating analytics for insights and increasing efficiencies through automation or using ‘best-of-breed’ product

    • The ability to build partnerships internally/externally is highly desirable

    • Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations

    • Capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization

    • SAFe or Scrum certification as product owner

    • Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent required
