Principal SD Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP SD Consultant
 

This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
 

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
• The position may require travel to project/client locations.

Preferred Qualification

• At least 8 years of experience in SAP SD
• Minimum 2 Hands on S/4 HANA Logistics implementation experience 
• Hands on SAP order to cash experience in Semi conductor industry preferred
• Real time experience of working in Activate and Agile methodology
• Experience in order to cash functionalities like  Sales Quotations, Sales Contracts, Mass maintenance of pricing conditions, Output determination and Form printing, Billing, Debit Memo Request/Credit Memo Request, Returns Management
• Experience in configuring and customizing Shipping and Transportation functions like Outbound Delivery Processing with different delivery types such as PPF actions, Multiple Shipment Consolidations, Picking with different strategies, Packaging, Goods Issue, Automatic Unit Handling functions like HU Management and HU Serial Number assignment
• Experience in configuring and customizing billing documents types like Invoicing plans, Free goods process, Dunning
• Experience in configuring and customizing Credit Management Process
• Experience in configuring and customizing rebates process
• Experience working on EDI interfaces for Sales orders, Debit Memo/Credit Memo, Shipment, Billing documents
• Thorough knowledge of integration points between Sales & Distribution and other core modules such as FI, CO, MM, PP, QM & WM
• Knowledge on Variant Configuration and make to order process will be added advantage 
• Proficient in working with CDS views and guiding technical teams in building extensions
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and work with globally distributed teams
• Experience with driving blueprinting workshops independently 
• Hands on experience with solution architecture and pre sales a plus
• Experience and desire to work in a management-consulting environment that requires regular travel.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
