Project manager

Infosys is seeking to hire a Technical Project Manager who will manage end to end project management role and someone who can work cross functionally having good people management skills. You will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options, and makes recommendations. You will create business requirement and process artifacts and assist with the overall deployment. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5-8 years of engineering project management experience preferably with cross functional and data driven systems.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience.

• Strong sense of project risk including the ability to predict, notice, clarify, assess, track, and mitigate

• Able to focus on the details whilst also seeing the big picture and being comfortable with a level of ambiguity.

• Outstanding organizational skills: the ability to deliver to a tight timeframe whilst maintaining quality of work.

• Accuracy and thorough attention to detail is crucial; able to follow defined processes.

• Skilled in using a variety of tools (excel, relational database, scripts etc.) for data analysis.

• Proficiency in handling large data files using unix scripting, python or similar languages.

• Competency in SQL and procedural SQL (preferably Oracle)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Project managing operational tasks to support music publishing reporting and production systems.
• Ensure outbound reporting meets all quality checks and SLAs.
• Ensure data consistency at various points in the report generation workflow
• Investigate problems with reports and as required use scripting or db query to investigate
• Identify data and process issues and tenaciously work with cross functional teams across Apple to resolve them.
• Get into the technical details of complex engineering and analytical issues and provide in-depth evaluations
• Ability to define test cases and perform meticulous UAT testing.
• Create and execute scripts as necessary to perform detailed testing of business requirements and data analysis.
• Simultaneously handle multiple lines of work with competing priorities.
• Work under limited supervision, using good judgment about when to seek guidance
• Drive initiatives through to execution while focusing on project and status transparency, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and aware throughout the process.
