ReactJS Developer

Infosys is seeking a React JS Developer. This position will primary be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston, TX or work remotely from anywhere within the US initially and be willing to relocate to the area within 3 months. This position may require relocation and /or travel to project location.

Required Qualifications.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
• Experience with UI & React JS.

Preferred Qualification.

• Experience working on Kubernetes, Docker, and CICD tools.
• Experience in AWS service offerings.
• Experience using a version control system such as GIT.
• Willingness to rapidly learn new technologies and advocate for emerging technologies that will enhance the existing environment.
• Experience in Retail and CPG domain.
• Good understanding of the full software development life cycle including agile development, test-driven development and continuous integration.
• Experience designing and interacting with relational databases and writing SQL queries.
• Experience and understanding of in Production support, maintenance processes, Service Level management.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Report status of progress and challenges in timely and accurate fashion using available tools and metrics.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
