    Position summary

    cation Maintenance: Oversee the daily operations of digital products and applications, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted service for users given by the team.
    2. Mentor: Mentor and train support staff to enhance their technical skills and customer service.
    3. Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor team's performance, ensuring that team meet established benchmarks and performance criteria.
    4. Collaboration: Coordinate daily activities, ensuring timely issue resolution and support coverage.
    5. Documentation: Make sure the team maintain comprehensive documentation of operational activities, challenges, and resolutions.
    6. Accountability: Act as an escalation point for complex issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

    Must have skills:
    • The ability to investigate, manage and resolve issues on application
    • The ability to consume requirements and translate them into deliverables as part of a team responsible for critical infrastructure; this would need to be done with little or no supervision.
    • Working understanding of DevOps practices; this needs to be evidenced to show the ability to be able to work in operations as well as to be part of a team developing and delivering solutions as required Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and processes.

    Nice to have skills:
    • Azure or AWS Experience
    • Experience in working with PROS
    • Major Incident resolution: this would require experience and the correct mindset to trouble shooting across the infrastructure to resolve incidents of varied and unpredictable nature remotely.
    • Experience with troubleshooting infrastructure and coordinating with multiple teams.

    Soft Skills
    • Ability to quickly adapt to new operational challenges, leveraging problem-solving skills to ensure the application remains operational.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, especially with software engineers, platform engineers, and site reliability engineers.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to articulate challenges and resolutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
