Senior Java Developer

Infosys is seeking a Senior Java Springboot Developer. In the role, you will collaborate with key customers to apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code work you're doing for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; you will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications:

•    The candidate must be located within commuting distance of Hartford, CT or Stamford CT or Groton CT or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
•    Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of dynamic experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of Education.
•    At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
•    Experience in Java, Spring Boot development.

Preferred Qualifications:

•    Ability to be a part of a diverse team/ multiple stakeholder environment.
•    Experience with cloud-based platform.
•    Experience using continuous deployment / continuous integration (CI / CD) technology.
•    Analytical skills to identify root cause and come up with solutions/alternatives.
•    Working in an agile environment- with Scrum, Kanban, SAFe methodologies.
•    Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
