Senior Java Fullstack Developer

Infosys is seeking a Senior Java Fullstack Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders to apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Boston, MA or Hartford CT or be willing to relocate to the area. 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of Education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in Java fullstack development.
• Experience in ReactJS.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in Java. Springboot, Microservices, RESTful, Soap Webservices. API, Spring, etc.
• At least 5 years of experience in ReactJS.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience with a cloud-based platform.
• Drools Rule Engine, Jenkins Job setup, JMeter load testing
• Experience in Unix commands and Unix Scripting
• Experience using continuous deployment / continuous integration (CI / CD) technology.
• Analytical skills to identify root cause and come up with solutions/alternatives
• Working in an agile environment- with Scrum, Kanban, SAFe methodologies
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
