Senior Microservices Developer

Infosys is seeking a Senior Microservices Developer.  As a Senior Microservices Developer, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module and support peers in quality checks such that design requirements are met. You will be responsible to create the user documentation for the assigned sub-modules, perform root-cause analysis of any issues that arise post-implementation and work on solutions related to issue fixing. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

• At least 4 years of relevant Information Technology experience

• The location for this position is Irving,TX. This position may require travel and/or relocation

Preferred Qualifications:
 

• At least 4 years of experience with Java, Springboot.

• Atleast 4 years of experience with Java / J2EE and other related frameworks

• Ability to interpret requirements to develop micro services/integrations in CI/CD

• Extensive experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

• Extensive experience and knowledge in API Testing Tools and Deployment Platform

• Ability to create Design Document addressing business requirements, gap analysis

• Ability technically lead and groom a team of developers who might be geographically distributed

• Broad knowledge of web standards relating to APIs (OAuth, SSL, CORS, JWT, etc.)

• Knowledge and experience on the best practice on Micro services.

• Ability to make technology decisions related to Microservices logging ,exception handling

• Extensive coding experience with either Java/Springboot

• Understanding of ELK and Oracle DB

• Understanding of AWS/OCI components and managed services

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
