Senior SAP BW/4HANA consultant

Infosys is seeking for Senior SAP BW/4 HANA Consultant

As a Senior Consultant, you will be a key player in the team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options with team and makes recommendations. You will be responsible for the overall Project Management, develop and coordinate the development as required by the client project Governance and Methodology process. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications for Senior SAP BW/4 HANA Consultant

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.

• Location for this position is Omaha, NE.  This position may require travel (or) relocation.

Preferred Qualifications for Senior SAP BW/4 HANA Consultant

• At least 4 years of experience in SAP BW/HANA, BW/4HANA, Native HANA.
• Should be able to effectively play role of an Onsite coordinator for AMS track and work with corresponding Offshore team in ensuring an efficient support.
• Should be able to act as a liaison between Business users and Technical analytics team. Help understand business requirements and translate them to technical perspective for feasibility analysis and review design of solution proposed by working with respective technical teams involved for delivery. Also, to cater to Business users by pointing them to correct/ relevant technical teams on ground and setting up meetings to ensure their adhoc requests of information are taken care of.
• Should be able to coordinate and pitch in with technical guidance predominantly to AMS SAP analytics teams (predominantly : ETL, Supply chain (cross-coordination with APO team), Sales tracks) coordinate with Non-SAP analytics streams (Snowflake, IICS etc.) and drive the projects/ enhancements for successful delivery.
• Follow up on any regular support level outstanding issues / help coordinate business follow-ups for the same. Help to prioritize enhancements in the queue, ensure CRQ approvals and process / industry best practice guidelines are followed.
• In a position to coordinate with other teams like DB team, Basis etc and help suggest with any decisions for the team to be taken w.r.t System performance issues/migration plans/ future road map/ risk analysis/ review & provide inputs with upgrade-cutover project plans etc..
• Join Weekly Status Review stand-up meetings, SAP VTO meetings, SWAT related to system issues and any other adhoc meetings that may be required by business management etc.
• Good communication

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
